Research of collaboration between UC3M-B5tec in Electrochimica Acta!

The most recent advances in optical sensors for monitoring Vanadium flow batteries, a product of the partnership between University Carlos III de Madrid and B5tec, have been published by the Electrochimica Acta Journal in its last edition.
This work is titled “A comprehensive guide for measuring total vanadium concentration and state of charge of vanadium electrolytes using UV–Visible spectroscopy”. It presents a comprehensive document that outlines calibration methods capable of accurately quantifying both the total vanadium concentration and the SOC across all possible vanadium electrolyte mixtures, encompassing a wide concentration range. The paper provides significant calibration improvements regarding the existing literature, resulting in better accessibility for the reader and improved measurement accuracy. Congratulations to our colleagues!
