B5tec participated in the II Annual Meeting on 3D printed medicines, tissues and microfluidics, organized by Galenicus Group Madrid (UCM), was held on 17 October 2024. The meeting addressed the advances that are shaping the future of healthcare and biotechnology through 3D printing and microfluidics. Research was presented that developed 3D printed microfluidic chips and achieved a scalable and continuous process with a substantial reduction in preparation time compared to other conventional mixing methods for nanoparticle production, as well as the development of 3D in vitro models for toxicological evaluation, mimicking organs in Organ on a chip systems.
