Research of B5tec and UC3M on International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer

The most recent advances obtained in the field of energy storage and microfluidics product of the partnership between University Carlos III de Madrid and B5tec has been recognized by the International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer through publishing a scientific paper in its last edition corresponding to Volume 170. The effects of diffusive mixing between two colaminar flows are studied there, assuming extreme cases for the rate of the kinetics of vanadium reactions  at the center of the microchannel in order to evaluate the possibilities of self discharge, and its effects on the performance of membraneless micro flow batteries.
